On April the 23rd,  we celebrated the International Book Day. On this occasion, Iwith.org organized an annual literary contest. This year the rule was to copy Twitter and write 140-character-sentences.

Since January, Iwith.org is sponsoring a chimpanzee of the Jane Goodall Institute, a recipient of ours. Last year, we have worked together for the Speak Out in the jungle project. Now, we continue with the sponsorship of Kudia, a chimpanzee.

With over a billion people worldwide going hungry, one of the major challenges of the XXI century is to produce food for an increasingly crowded world threatened with global warming.

Next friday - February the 12th - will take place the 2n carnival in Sant Adrià de Besòs. The youth center Barnabitas, one of our beneficiairies, participates in this initiative.

 Ferran Bolós, is our winner of the "Iwith.org 2009 Postcard" award. He is very familiar with Iwith.org and our initiatives from working with the NGO Vols, a beneficiary of ours, as their communications engineer. He is currently on leave of absence until August when he returns from living in Tanger (Morroco) for eight months.
